How it works
A photograph, hidden in plain sight
There is no screen and no battery. The image sits inside a small clear stone and appears when light passes through it.
Send us the photograph
After you order, we email you to ask for the image. Any clear photo works — a phone picture is fine.
We set it into the stone
Your photograph is printed at miniature scale and sealed inside the projection stone at the centre of the piece.
Hold it up to the light
Bright light behind the stone brings the image forward so you can see it. Let it hang and it reads as a plain fine pendant again.
The projection needs a strong light source behind it — daylight, a window, a phone torch. In a dim room it stays hidden, which for most people is the point.

How do I send my photograph?
You attach it when you add the piece to your cart — there's an upload field on this page, just above the button. Any clear phone photo works. If the one you send won't reproduce well at this size we'll email you before making anything.
How clearly can you actually see the photo?
You need light behind the stone. Held up to a window or a lamp, the image is clear enough to make out faces. In a dim room you won't see it at all. It's a keepsake you look into deliberately, not a screen.
How long will it take to arrive?
Every piece is made to order, so this isn't next-day delivery. Most orders reach US addresses in two to three weeks, and the estimate for this piece is under Details and care above. You'll get tracking by email. If it's for a specific date, give it a month to be safe.
Can I wear it in the shower or swimming?
We'd rather you didn't. Take it off before showering, swimming or the gym, and keep it away from perfume and hand cream. Treated that way it stays looking new for far longer.
Something's wrong with my order. What now?
